The Washington County Historical Society offers two to three historical lectures each year as part of its ongoing mission to educate country residents about the county’s past.

Recent lectures have included a presentation about the Country Doctor Museum at Lincoln, a conversation between former Gov. David Pryor and Kyle Kellams of KUAF radio, a lecture by author Brooks Blevins regarding the myths of Arkansas, and a history of the Prairie Grove Airlight Outdoor Telephone Booth by Ralph Wilcox of the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program.
